This cardgame plays a lot like "Werewolves of Miller's Hollow", but with a twist.
The settings is the wild west, in a town called Tombstone. Two outlaws and a wannabe outlaw are hidden amongst the cowboys, and each night they kill an innocent cowboy. Their goal is to bring down the number of cowboys untill they outnumber them. But each morning the cowboys gather and hang someone, hoping to eliminate the outlaws.
Each player is secretly assigned a role : you may be the sheriff, the barber, the doctor, the priest or the hero. You can hide this identity, but if you want to use your special ability (like healing a shot person if you are the doctor, of taking the confession of another player if you are the priest) then you need to reveal your card. Of course, this is a risk if the outlaws consider you dangerous.
Unlike the werewolves, the outlaws can have a special character too. The priest, or even the hero, can be an outlaw. This makes the paranoia even bigger: when the cowboys decide to hang a person, why does the judge decide to let him free? Why doesn't the doctor heal the priest after being shot? This make the game much more intriguing. No more "hey i'm a special character i'm innocent"...
Another difference is that you can play the game with lesser persons. There are rules to play the game with up to 25 players, but slightly different rules to make it playable with 13-24 players, 4-12 players, and even 2-3 players. In the case of 4-12 players each player has more than one character, which means you are not eliminated out of the game as soon as one character dies.
