Published in Japan, but sold briefly as a ziplock in the US at the Origins convention, this is a wargame of the crucial October battles at Guadalcanal. In fact, the game's subtitle is "Bloody October."
Game includes a Masahiro Yamazaki map of Henderson Field and the surrounding area done in a somewhat stylized manner. There are 264 counters including several surface ships and planes. The Japanese rules are twenty pages of 8.5 x 11, done in a sepia tone. including some advertisements for the Japanese edition of Command magazine. The English rules are sixteen black and white xeroxed pages, also 8.5 x 11 unbound, although two sided and perfectly readable.
