Neither maps nor names exist for this place. They tried to revive technology, but failed. Their harmony, today, is the measure of that failure. Everything dies, and dies anew, in a loop infected by the germ of iteration. Creatures are born, whose only purpose being to be crushed, torn, mangled.
Endlessly. Again and again.
With neither end nor beginning.
In this dungeon crawler with roguelike elements, players will navigate through the Stomach Prison maze trying to find two sirens which, once activated, will open the gate for the freedom. Each turn the players will reveal a maze tile and face what it hides which may be loot (draw from a deck), mutations (draw from another deck), monsters (up to five per tile, spawned through the roll of a die and then draw from a dedicated deck of cards), sirens or events. In the last two cases players will be instructed to read a dedicated paragraph on an event booklet and, sometimes, will be give choices to take tests to attempt. On the other hand, ringing sirens will summon a sub-boss players will have to defeat.
The combat system is based on the "D8-entropy system", in which every attack (both from players and from enemies) is resolved by a modified d8 roll with 8 representing a critical hit and 1 always a miss (modifiers applied due to player and weapons characteristics, mutations or altered status): if the modified result is 8 or more the attack is successful and damage is dealt.
But be careful. Even defeating the last boss won't be enough to grant your freedom, since only one player will be able to escape...
