"The official game of the World Championships in Athletics!"
In this game you compete in five different sports: long-jumping, 110m hurdles, javelin-throwing, pole-vaulting, and 1500m.
In each sport your results are measured in meters or seconds, just like in real life, so you have a chance of setting new world record! In addition, you get "result points" in each sport. The better your results, the more points you get. The result points are added up, and the player having the most points after all five sports is the winner! The "super score" - very hard to achieve - is 1000 points or more.
One special feature of the game is that you yourself can influence your results; the outcome is not decided by the dice alone.
So if you're planning to win this official game of the world championships in athletics, it is going to take both skill and luck - just like in real life!
This is a rare Fenno-Alga publication in that, being published to promote the specific sports competition in Helsinki, it does not seem to have a Swedish counterpart at all.
