"Meet the animals that inhabit the seas. Be the first to collect 1 fish, 1 turtle, 1 crab and 1 seahorse in front of you.
But watch out!
The terrible Kamakaï, the largest of the tiger sharks, is also prowling these waters, frightening the other sea creatures."
Kamakai is a game in which player collects cards of various sea animals, trying to get all four species in their card line by drawing on top of the deck or of the discard pile. Players can rearrange their line whenever they want, with one of the cards being next to a shark token.
After each turn, the player must roll a die, and depending of the colour rolled, they must discard a card of the corresponding colour, should they have one.
They can also roll a shark, in which case they must discard the card that is next to their shark token. Lastly, they can roll a seaweed in which case the turn is over without having to discard any card.
Some cards have half a seaweed icon on their side, and if the player can complete a seaweed icon with the card they just drew, they can skip the dice roll entirely.
The first to have all four animal icons in their card line wins.
