Europe: the minigame series, is a selection of five games that are designed to be played by those as young as age 5, and in 10-30 minutes.
They deal with different historical subjects. The five are:
Crusades
Viking Fury
The Last Legion
Russian Valor
Knight Battles
Each set comes with:
4 figures
10 tokens
1 game board
1 die
set of rules
The rules consist of four pages and have a very low complexity level.
The armies are plastic figures, and there are different varieties depending on the game being played. Figures include Barbarians, Romans, Vikings, Knights, Novgorodians, and Crusaders, each set having 4 poses and different strength for the game. It has not been determined if every game in the series has the same figure poses, so in this sense there may be some collectability with these games.
The goal of the game is to take over the player's capital. To do this they maneuver their forces and attacker each other.
Movement begins with a player rolling a die to determine the weather for the turn. On a clear day armies may move 2 hexes and on a rainy day they may move 1 hex.
Combat is determined by the attacker rolling a die and adding the strength of any tokens. This is compared against the defensive value of the targeted army for the result.
