From the designer's website: "Naval battle game rules for fantasy (or ancient) battle. A development of Ed Smith's 'Greek Naval Warfare' rules of 1974. Suitable for ancient Greeks, Roman or Fantasy battles."
Each model represents one oared galley. Statistics for nine different types of ships are given in the rules. The rules provide for ramming, missile, and boarding combat. Movement is broken into five simultaneous phases, which ships moving in one or more increments based on their current speeds.
