Breakthrough is an icehouse game designed to be played on a chess board with 2 players, each needing 1 stash. The objective is to be the first player to move one of his pieces to the opposite end of the board.
Each player sets up his pyramids as desired on their back 2 rows of squares.
On a player's turn, he may move one pyramid one space.
i. Small pyramids may move and capture diagonally forward.
ii. Medium pyramids may move straight forward or diagonally forward, and they capture diagonally forward.
iii. Large pyramids may move straight forward, straight backward or diagonally forward, and they capture diagonally forward.
c. Captured pyramids are removed from play
