Spaceship Redoubt (The ship) is a bastion of strength and peace across the united alliance of planets, until a routine patrol of the dangerous border frontier places the ship under attack from vicious shapeshifting pirates! A surprise attack disables the engines, and quickly the pirates board the ship assuming human shape and wearing their uniforms to blend in with the goal of taking over the ship as captain.

Players take on the roles of ship personnel with specific skills, with the intent to discover the hidden pirates, and jail them, repair the engines, and escape. Players may also be a shapeshifting pirate, which means instead they are trying to hide, jail important members of crew, or blow up the engine!

Players have two cards that represent personnel on the ship and can bluff as any of the personnel roles in order to accomplish tasks around the ship, but if they are called out on not having that card, then they can get jailed! You have to balance the risk of failure versus the success of the strength of the task!
Personnel rejoice in victory if all Pirates are jailed, and the engine is repaired. Pirates successfully destroy the ship, by tampering with the engine, or jailing enough personnel so that the ship cannot function!
