Players test their holiday spirit and creativity by coming up with valid answers to Christmas-themed category questions.

Turn over 5 "category" cards and 1 "letter" card. Then flip over the 1-minute timer. Players have until the timer runs out to come up with answers matching the "category" card that begin with the designated letter. For the first 4 categories, the goal is to be unique. For the 5th category, there is a twist! Players test how well they know their opponents by attempting to match their answers to earn points.

When the time is up, players share answers with the group, earning points if others agree that their answers are valid. If an answer is up for dispute, majority rules! Lobbying for your answer is an integral part of the fun of Christmas Categories.

A typical game lasts 3 rounds but can go longer if players are having fun.
