NBAopoly is a Monopoly variant with a basketball theme. Players buy NBA franchises, unlike in Monopoly, you do not have to land on a team square to purchase it. Instead of paying in play money when landing on an opponents property square, you pay in points. If you land on a square that an opponent has placed in Receivership (similar to Mortgage in Monopoly) you can claim the property for free. The major difference from Monopoly is that the game has a strict time limit of 48 minutes at which point the game ends immediately and the player with the most points is the winner.
