Dokuganryu Masamune (Masamune, the single eyed Dragon) covers battles fought by Date Masamune nicknamed "Dokuganryu" (Single-eyed Dragon). He was a Champion of the North.
Three scenarios are included in this game: "Battle of Hitotoribashi" and "Battle of Suriagehara" (short games), "Tensho Crisis" (campaign game).
Each players controls one or more clans.
There are four action stages in each game turn. The number of stages where each troop can act is decided by commander's activation ability. In the action stage, each troop selects one action. The actions that can be selected are movement, field combat, siege, moral recovery, reorganization and replacement.
Victor of the game is the player who earns the most victory points. The victory points are provided by castle control and enemy units removal.
SCALE: Each hex of map is roughly 6000 meters. Each game turn represents one week of real time. Each combat units represents about 1000 soldiers.
