Rätselräume is a captivating, co-operative game that takes you into a mysterious, empty house.

Your task? Investigate the rooms, solve a variety of puzzles and immerse yourself in the moving stories of the former residents. The scenes you unlock tell of different realities of life and the coexistence of a house characterised by conflict, but also by tolerance and solidarity.

The game thematises migration, social change, right-wing violence and resistance to it. It is set in the 1990s and 2000s and opens up references to the present day.

Rätselräume was developed for use in schools from year 7 and other educational contexts. It can be played by large groups of up to 30 people, but also by a single person - and therefore also at home, with family or friends.
