Ancient War: Heroes and the Three Kingdoms is a historical wargame set in the Three Kingdoms period of ancient China.

Players command their armies under the leadership of generals. The gameplay includes deploying reinforcements, secretly issuing and revealing military orders, and managing momentum (战势), which directly affects morale. Keeping morale high is essential, as the first side to reach zero morale loses the battle.

Tactical elements such as fire attacks, plagues, poisoned arrows, and siege towers are introduced based on the specific scenarios.
