The game features a unique and interesting system using 10 sided dice instead of the classic 6 sided. This creates new dynamics as well as new odds to master. In addition, the game has three different kinds of points by which to buy your army. This creates a very different feel than most war games, as an army feels like an army, not all heroes or all infantry. Finally, the game uses and RPG-like style of hero creation, where a player is given so many hero levels, which can be used to buy skills on a skill tree. Overall this makes for an original and fascinating game.
