Players become managers of the idol group Toriteita 4to6, organizing the formations for live performances and deciding on the Center and Captain. Idols graduate when they reach 30 points. Earns the most points and show everyone you have what it takes to be the best manager!

The game of toriteita-46 (鳥手板4to6) is a must-follow trick-taker. When a player plays a card, it determines where they place their acrylic standee in front of a numbered lineup. Additional cards are revealed called Cadet Cards that determine the location of any unselected standees.

Players compete for the Center position in that lineup or to be the Captain by playing the strongest card. The Center moves their card to their scoring area face-up and will lead the next trick, and the Captain moves their card and any Cadet Cards that match it face-down to their scoring area. If a player takes a seventh or higher face-down card, they pass all of their face-up cards to the player with the least face-down cards.

When players have one card left in each of their hands, they all place that last card face-up or face-down in their scoring area and the round ends. A player scores a point for each face-down card and a point for each suit symbol on their face-up cards. If they have between 4 and 6 face-down cards, they receive the score from their face-up cards a second time. Once a player scores 30 or more points at the end of a round, the player with the highest total score wins the game.

Additional rules include variants for players to draft their hands, ways that trump can change suit, or a mix of the two.
