VOID: The Frontier is a competitive card game for 2-6 players, where you collect rare Specimens, secure Favors from the locals, and deploy Maneuver cards to benefit yourself or sabotage opponents. Sell completed sets to gain the most points and win the game!
The game begins with three Expedition rounds, where players simultaneously reveal their chosen route. If they choose to travel to VOID, they are dealt cards. If they travel to the Hub, they gain favors.
Each player can then play cards: either Specimens, by laying them down in front of them (their Warehouse), or they can play Maneuver cards, which help the player or hinder their opponents.
Gameplay then moves to Market rounds, where players choose different Transactions, including sell sets of 3 Specimens to score points, or use one of the Favors they have accumulated.
Hidden within the deck are Empty cards. Once 8 of these cards have been drawn by the players, gameplay immediately moves to the last Market rounds and the game ends. The player with the most points from selling sets wins the game.
