"Two player Card Game based on the Games Workshop Warhammer Fantasy Universe."
The players each assemble a custom forty card play deck with a total value of 100 points or less. Each player chooses a different army from which to build a deck. There are sets of cards for the following armies, among others: Dwarf, Wood Elf, Skaven, Ork, Goblin, Lizardman, High Elf, Chaos Dwarf, and Dark Elf. Each card is rated for cost, force, and type. Some cards are also designated as Unique (one per army) or Rare (two per army).
Each play deck must include a Command Group consisting of a Hero, with a Force rating of four or more, and a Wizard. A play deck may have a maximum of twenty Item, Spell, Tactic, Mark, and Virtue cards, and a maximum of ten Wizard and Hero cards.
The are numerous card types in the game, grouped under two main classes: Units and Enhancements. Unit cards include the following types: Hero, Magic, Wizard, Archer, War Machine, Signal, Berserker, Ambush, Scout, Monster, Beast, Cavalry, Infantry, and Spear. Enhancement cards include: Item, Spell, Tactic, Mark, and Virtue.
