August, 1941. Rommel has driven the Western Desert Force all the way across Cyrenica. But the Tiger Convey has just arrived bringing tanks, airplanes, ammunition and supplies. General Wavell now has what he need to drive the Germans back, and seize initiative on the North African front.

The Player who best executes combined arms stands the best chance - you need to integrate all aspects of the North African Desert Space. The game is played in alternating turns. Each players forces will be under double digits as this is tactical game that includes basics like Line of Sight, Elevation, Opportunity Fire, Indirect Fire and armor overruns!

Operation Battleaxe is the third of Dark City Game's Combat Boots series of tactical wargames. Each piece is a squad or section of infantry, an individual vehicle, gun, or aircraft. The scale of the board is 50 meters per hexagon, and each game turn covers only a few minutes.
