In a World of Dinosaurs is a territory and resource collection game for 2-4 players where you play simultaneously as Paleontologists in the present, and Dinosaurs in the past, on two separate boards. One board represents the island millions of years ago, and the other represents the island around the early 1900’s
Players defend their land from opposing teams, expand their territory, and explore the jungle for artifacts, all the while strategically fossilizing dinosaurs in areas of the island they control.
As they kill off these dinosaurs, players assemble their fossilized remains, and send them off to the museum to start attracting visitors. Sure, they may be narrowly avoiding certain death while they do so, but who isn’t?
The better the dinosaurs, the more visitors walk into your museum. The dinosaurs can be assembled in any combination (for example Tyran-dactyl), to immediately attract visitors, or players can hold out to assemble matching parts for more points.
