It provides a massive level of brute force to your army - which can only be rivaled by an Avatar of the Elder gods. This is also a way to keep the figure count of your army low for scenarios, and still pack a powerful punch. Even a pair of Lessor Terrorbeasts have trouble fighting a single Greater Terrorbeast.
