In the world of Vikings, Valtivar: Thrúd æn Modi presents two single-player modes, around a dice-rolling duel. The objective will be to defeat one of the two gods of Norse mythology.
Each round, the player will have three tries to establish their best dice pool to defend themselves or attack their opponent, as well as to collect blessing tokens. The opponent will be entitled to a single throw, however depending on the god chosen, he has his own mechanics to inflict penalties as well as devastating blows.
The player has a major advantage since he can invoke one of the three gods by offering him blessing tokens only once per game. These gods can trigger some pretty powerful effects.
The games are short and intense, but you will have to balance between risk-taking and defence.
