Wargame of the Battle of Qadesh fought in 1275 BC between the Egyptian army led by Pharaoh Ramesses II and the Hittites under the Great King Muwatalli II. Qids is an alternative name for Quadesh (modern Tell Nebi Mend in Syria).

The game starts with the Hittite's ambushing the Egyptian Pre division, then attacking Ramesses' camp with the Pharaoh and the Amun division. Egyptian reinforcements (the Nearin) appear once the camp is successfully attacked. The game is eight turns long.

Forces are chariots, infantry, baggage and Ramesses himself. Movement is by rectangular areas, with special rules for the camp. Combat is resolved by dice; The Ramesses unit (following his own account of the battle) can overthrow the enemy easily, but is badly outnumbered. The victory level is decided by how many chariots the Egyptians capture and how much baggage the Hittites take and if they can capture the Pharaoh himself.
