Indio: Renaissance is an expansion to the Indio base game. It adds new land, resources, workers, and cards.

The core gameplay of Indio continues as before, but players now have access to wood (from new forest lands) which fuel invention. Innovation cards can be purchased to provide new player powers, resource bonuses, and additional victory points. Merchants roam the land and give gold resources in trade. House cards allow players to start with asymmetric abilities. Honor cards give bonuses to players who accomplish their goals.
