There is another English name of the game called TamGu, which is the tranliteration of the Chinese name 淡古.
You are a group of tourists on a 3-day (72 hours) trip to Tamsui. In the game, you have to utilize limited time and money to visit the Monuments and taste the local food in Tamsui to gain "knowledge points". After finishing the game, the player with the most points will win the title of "Master of TamGu".
(This paragraph of description comes from the English rulebook.)
The game proceeds clockwise during the first round. On every turn the active player may choose either to visit a site or to earn money. To visit a site, the player chooses an available Traveling Card to buy (with both money and his limited time) and moves his pawn to the corresponding zone. If the player has insufficient money or he wants to gain the traveling fee, he can instead move back to the starting zone to convert any amount of time to money. After the first round, the game proceeds like the well-known game Patchwork.
The game continue till all players have moved for no less than 72 hours. The player with the highest knowledge points wins.
