"Educational, entertaining and challenging" - a roll of two dice each turn determines if your jet plane moves to one of 54 cities on the map of the United States or remains idle due to a mishap!
Up to four players use their flight schedules and dice to determine where they will fly and therefore how many miles they can log each turn. A large map assists with the colorful airplane placement for each player on their turn each round.
A designated "flight captain pilot" is a player as well but is also nominally in charge of each game - their extra duties include controlling the game, assisting with the flight milage sheets, map and ensuring correct logging of milage by all players as well as assessing penalties for logging false data. They also determine at the start of the game how many rounds the game will comprise - 4, 6, 8, 10, etc.
Player rolls may result in no milage for a pilot's turn due to fog, illness, hijackings, FAA inspections and more, as described on their individual flight schedule. On the last round after everyone has had their turn, the pilot with the most logged miles wins the game!
