Play involves the use of different types of bilingually printed cardboard cards. These cards are:

Starting Cards: These 6 green cards with a white maple leaf on the face, indicate on the reverse the city from which a player starts a "trek" across Canada, i.e. - Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, etc.

Adventure Cards: These 6 purple cards with a white maple leaf on the face indicate animals to be hunted on the tour.

Souvenir Cards: These 6 yellow cards with a white maple leaf on the face indicate a historic settlement or city to be visited on the tour.

Picture Cards: These 16 smaller orange cards with a white maple leaf on the face illustrate native animals and hunters. There are 2 cards in the set for each illustration.
