A game of the World War Two amphibious invasion of Italy September 8/9, 1943. Map sheet is black and white showing the part of Italy surrounding the Gulf of Salerno where the Allied Armies invaded the night of 8/9 September 1943.
Games uses zones of control and has 119 yellow (Allies) and 119 red (German, Italians) die cut unit counters. Total counters with blanks is 238. Victory is on a point system for various objectives (such as 5 points awarded for whoever holds Montecorvino airfield at the end of the game, etc.). Includes four page rule book and two page "correction sheet." Very rare game from 1972. Envelope/zip lock game.
