In Speed Chess, you have only six pieces with which to play: three pawns, a knight, a bishop and a king. It requires fewer moves, but also a great deal of skill in order to trap the opponent's king. Since the chess board is not square, it presents opportunities for new strategies and clever moves. Furthermore, Speed Chess is much faster than traditional chess, which means you will need to think fast to keep your opponent in...umm...check!
