Each player is attempting to connect 8 pieces or encircle any of the other players with 6 of their own to arrive at one of the four winning conditions first.

Cultivating more than a single attacking option and pre-positioning outliers along the same line form the basis of strategy.

Each player has 28 turns to make or foil those 8 connections without becoming unable to place in line with their preceding directional arrow or becoming themselves encircled.

This means that a game might come down to the longest continuous line of either players pieces as that which distinguishes the winner.
