Bad Ideas (lead to better ones) is a card game that develops creativity through play. When the cards are combined together, they create a randomized design problem to solve. Then it's up to you and the other players to think of the most inventive solution. The game can be used in for corporate brainstorming, education or played with friends.

How to Play
tools
use the bundled dry erase markers on the blank erasable cards or markers on paper

timekeeping
use a smartphone timer, egg timer, or anything that allows custom times between 1 and 5 minutes.

play
choose a ‘PLAY MODE’ for gameplay and judging details

winning
after the round is over a winner is chosen by blind vote:

assign numbers to the players ideas
write your choice on a blank whiteboard card or paper scrap
reveal your choices a the same time and tally them up
you can’t vote for yourself!


wild cards
if a ‘draw 2’ card is flipped over during play, 2 new cards should be pulled from the deck and used instead

skill level
if you want to really practice your drawing skills, multiply the play time listed by 3

flip the user card and sketch any product for that user [1m timer]
flip the goal card and modify your idea to fit that goal [2m timer]
flip the constraint card and modify your idea to fit that new constraint [3m timer]
take turns sharing all 3 ideas

judge players on how creatively their idea has evolved
