It's the mid 1980ies and a mutated rabies virus wiped out almost every single life on earth. Those, who have been infected with the Zion virus transformed into soulless, bloodthirsty creatures hunting for every living.

Revenants is a tabletop RPG in an post-apocalyptic 80ies scenario with a completely randomized playing field, randomized encounters and randomized loot to grant maximum playing variety over uncountable gaming sessions.
The players slip into the role of those ones, who are resistant against the virus and therefore being able to scavenge contaminated areas for valuable resources and items to support other survivor guilds.

Revenants comes with over 150 desk tiles, with different landscapes like forests, fields, meadows, urban areas, many different buildings, scenes and places - each individually designed, over 60 figurines of Revenant-creatures and eerie mutations, over 300 item cards bearing melee- and ranged weapons, armor, traps, survival-, medical- and household items and many more to make each experience completely unique.

Up to 5 players can choose out of several characters, each one with uniquely abilities and skill trees and keep, train, level up and equip them with everything, they find on their expeditions. As the survivors improve with every game, so do their encounters. Less loot and harder enemies make 'Revenants' a constant challenge for everyone. Whether open range or close combat house-to-house melee fighting: Team play and tactics is important to survive the horde.
