Everyone knows that appearing to do something is far better (and a whole lot cheaper) than actually doing something. So, as BP, you’re going to do your best to spin your way to a healthier share price. As the public, you can bring a certain amount of pressure to bear upon the monolithic oil company - but maybe that’s exactly what sends their PR machine into overdrive? Can BP can be relied upon to do the right thing by themselves and fix the leak?"
